What are the characteristics and types of axial fans?
01/24/2024As the name suggests, the airflow of an axial fan moves in an axial direction.
- It is characterized by simple structure, low noise, large air volume, but can withstand low wind pressure. Therefore, axial fans are suitable for ventilation, heat dissipation and other occasions that require large air volume and low wind pressure.
- According to the wind direction classification: can be divided into A type (air from the stator side to the rotor side) and V type (air from the rotor side to the stator side).
EBMPAPST has derived several series based on the structure of the axial fans:
ebmpapst A series: It is composed of a motor and blades.
ebmpapst S series: It is composed of motor, impellers and finger guard.
ebmpapst W series: It is composed of a motor, impellers and air ducts.
